Rose pruning demonstration at Rose Garden at Woodland Park Zoo

The Seattle Rose Society hosts its annual rose pruning demonstration at the Rose Garden at Woodland Park Zoo.

Learn where and how much to cut and how to use your tools properly for correct cuts, and discover the varieties of roses and pruning techniques. Gain insight into the world of roses and how to care for them, and get answers to your questions by rosarians.

The Rose Garden offers a splendid setting for flower lovers to stroll the grass pathways circulating through 2½ acres of rose displays. The garden’s extensive array of bush roses, hybrid teas, florabundas, grandifloras, and climbers blends elegantly with the garden’s formal architectural design to create a memorable showcase landscape.
