Give Your Feedback on Proposed Parking Management Strategy for Roosevelt Way NE: Comment by July 13.
As a result of the new Roosevelt Way NE corridor design, including transit, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, there will be a reduction in on-street parking. The new bike lane and transit and pedestrian improvements require on-street parking removal on the west side of Roosevelt Way NE between NE 65th and NE 45th streets. To reduce potential impacts, SDOT is looking at supply – where they might add on-street parking spaces, and demand – how they can manage parking to make it easier to find. To address parking demand, SDOT is proposing a parking management strategy to better provide parking availability and meet the needs of the community.
