Have an Idea for Earth Day?

Interested in putting together a community event for Earth Day (April 22) but just need a little boost to make it happen?

The Office of Sustainability & Environment wants to help and has small climate grants (up to $500) available for groups or individuals who want to create opportunities for their community to get involved in climate or broad environmental action.  This is a great opportunity to help support Earth Day programs, but this fund can be used for nearly any educational or outreach activities.

Applications are accepted year round and applicant will hear back within 2 weeks.  For more information, go to http://greenspace.seattle.gov/2015/03/have-an-idea-for-earth-day/?utm_source=wysija&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=March+2015#sthash.O4aRc4dJ.dpuf.
