90th Anniversary of 1st Around the World Flight & Reunion Weekend at Sand Point Naval Air Station

Help celebrate the 90th anniversary of the first around the world flight, which left from Seattle’s Sand Point Airfield, now known as Magnuson Park in Northeast Seattle.
Over 50,000 people greeted the returning bi-planes and US Army Airmen as they landed to a 21-gun salute at 1:28 pm on September 28, 1924. Please join us to celebrate!
